The University of Alberta offers a variety of scholarships to its students. Some are based on your admission average – they are automatically offered when you apply for the University. While others require you to fill an application form.

This scholarship is for students in Canadian high schools on study permit securing an average of 80% and above. These students could receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- National Achievement Scholarship:
The best out-of-province student in Canada will be given $30,000. It is payable over 4 years.

These scholarships require students to fill an application, and after taking the scholarship exam, you’ll then be assessed and if successful, you’ll be given a scholarship based on your performance.

- Scholastic Distinction Scholarship:
Academically bright students with exemplary behavior who are able to secure an admission average of 95% and above will be considered for the Scholastic Distinction Scholarship – the best so far offered by the business University!
- Maple Leaf Centenary Scholarship:
This scholarship is for Canadian high school students on a study permit. A few with outstanding achievement and leadership qualities may be considered a scholarship worth of $20,000. It is payable over 4 years.
